Connie Conkright was born in Georgetown, Kentucky July 29, 1955. Most of her childhood was spent living in Lexington until she moved to Nicholasville, Kentucky in 1974. She resided there and raised her three daughters in Jessamine County for 20 years, where she owned and operated her own childcare center for 6 years.
As an advocate of children and families, Ms. Connie has worked diligently in church, school and community programs as well as being employeed in Child Care programs licensed by the Cabinet of Families and Children.
As a member of Edgewood Baptist Church for 25 years, she was always very involved in adult, children and youth music, drama and ministries. She served on numerous committees dedicated to church life, the facilities and grounds.

Ms. Connie and husband Ralph, were ordained together, as evangelists, in 2006. But, Connie’s passion for- and work in children and youth ministries has now spanned over 35 years.
Ms. Connie and Mr. Ralph have been members of Southland Christian Church for 12 years where Ms. Connie was on staff for 6 years serving as the Chapel Director for Southland's Great Escapes Preschool.
More recently, as the Early Childhood Director at Southern Acres Christian Church, Ms. Connie was thrilled to have been a part of launching 'Kidstuf' Ministries. A program that illustrates Biblical attrubutes (Virtures of the Month) to children with a focus on creating an environment for Family Worship. She is a part of the 'Rockin' Vocal and Dance Team each Sunday with her children and grandchildren!

You are likely to find Ms. Connie, her music box, puppets and props… just about anywhere- where children and families gather. Everything is mobile and she takes her ministry to a variety of schools, churches and… to the streets.

Connie’s husband Ralph, was a Navy man of 8 years. His Naval career included a top-secret security clearance and training in computer technology. He is currently employed as a Computer Programs Analyst Consultant. Like his predecessors (Peter, James and John) Ralph is an avid fisherman and devoted to the Lord. He is the driving presence in creating and supporting the ministries of the Heavenly Hive and is Ms. Connie’s armor bearer.

Keeping her young and continually motivated to travel the "kid circuit" are her three, beautiful granddaughters- Abigayle, Alyssa Joelle and Mattelyn. Ms. Connie is a totally devoted Nana devouring every moment of their time together like 'Manna from Heaven'. Don’t be surprised when you meet their namesakes as part of her puppet company…

Connie’s daughters are all grown up now…
(Well, almost).

Shelley (Becker) Hearn works for the Commonwealth of Kentucky's Cabinet of Families and Children. She began her career as a social worker in child protection and then took a position in the Cabinet with the office of Guardianship. Currently, she works in Central Intake as a first responder for the Abuse and Neglect Hotline.

She and husband, Troy are bicycle enthusiasts and the parents of Abbey and Aly Jo (our pretty little princesses). Abigayle and Alyssa attend school in Frankfort and the family is very involved in their school and community. They have a genuine love for people and it shows, in the way they do life and business.

Lacey (Becker) Freeman, worked for 7 years in the childcare field until acquiring her Real Estate license. She is currently working for MidAmerica as a leasing consultant. Husband, David owns Freeman and Son Auto Body. Savannah is a welcomed addition to our family!
Lacey is lead vocalist for 'Kidstuf Family Worship' and and is a intregal part of the Children's Ministries movement with Ms. Connie. Her neices call her the "Very Best Auntie In the whole wide world!" It's easy to understand why. Lacey fun personality is equaled only by her beautiful smile and love of life! I happen to agree- Lacey's the very best......at all of the above!
Jodey (Becker) Beil is carrying on the family tradition and until quite recently was employed at Our House at the Pinnacle Child Care Center. She and husband Matt, have relocated to Knoxville, Tennessee. Matt is employed with Ball Homes. Both have a flair and talent for custom design and decorating. They are often called to put those talents to good use for the Heavenly Hive.

Daughter Mattelyn was a student at the Heavenly Hive Christian Homeschool. As a child care professional and student parent, Jodey is instrumental in all aspects of Heavenly Hive programming and will have more time to devote to assisting with ministry needs. There is never a dull moment in their presence. Their smiles are contagious- and they keep us laughing!
They are blessed to have each other and we are blessed to the three of them in our lives.

Ms. Connie believes that Bible study, Praise, Worship, and Prayer are the pillars on which we mature as Christians and as prayer warriors. Her favorite verse of scripture is Proverbs 3:5- Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not to your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge him and he will direct your path.
She loves Lilies... the deeper and more brilliant the color the better. Crimson, King Hubert and Star Gazers are among her favorites.
The Japanese Steakhouse is her restaurant of choice. Gotta love those veggies and of course "the show"!

Her weakness- chocolate... need we say more?
Christmas is her favorite time of year. Ms. Connie loves the decorations and lights but it's the opportunity that the season offers for witnessing about Jesus, that she loves the most.

Ms. Connie loves to garden, sew, and her favorite place to be is by or on the water. She loves to fish (and play) in the lake and sit lake or oceanside at sunrise or sunset. One of her hobbies is taking pictures of beautiful sky scenes...like this one...

She enjoys fellowship and visitation ministries. Her gift of counsel and encouragement aid in her desire to see families stay unified and successful.
She says that the children and youth keep her young, the ladies of the church keep her company and Jesus keeps her singing- and for those reasons and more- you will always find her involved in these ministries.
Connie's Goals in life:
Quote;
I want to rejoice in every day that God has given me
like it tells us in Psalm 118.
I want to be a Proverbs 31 woman for my
husband and family.
I want to love the Lord and my neighbor as
He instructed in Luke 10.
I want to live a life that is pleasing to the Lord
because I love Him and I look forward to my
heavenly home as described in Revelation 21.
I want to live with a Fearless Heart:
For even the most trusting soul
This world can be a scary place
So much that we can't control
In every moment that we face
When a thousand 'what ifs'
Whisper in our ears
We remember whose we are
And watch them disappear
I wanna live with a fearless heart
Courage that's coming from trust in God
It's constantly guiding me though the road may seem dark
I wanna live, wanna live with a fearless heart
There are worries chasing everyone
It's evident in times like these
But I have found the confidence that comes
From time I spend on my knees
There's a truth I'm holding onto
As these days unfold
Greater is He, that is in me
than he that's in the world.
I wanna live with a fearless heart
Courage that's coming from trust in God
It's constantly guiding me though the road may seem dark
I wanna live, wanna live with a fearless heart
He's my strength, He's my shelter
He is with me all the way
He's my light and my salvation
Of whom shall I be afraid, of whom shall I be afraid?
I wanna live with a fearless heart
Courage that's coming from trust in God
It's constantly guiding me though the road may seem dark, yeah
I wanna live with a fearless heart
Courage that's coming from trust in God
It's constantly guiding me though the road is dark
I wanna live, wanna live with a fearless heart
With a fearless heart, with a fearless heart
With a fearless heart
